How to Manually Open the Trunk on BMW F11

Is the automatic trunk release not working and you don't know how to open it? Don't worry! First, as shown in the video, you can tie a string to the silver hook release and pull it. Otherwise, follow this procedure: enter the car through the rear door of the lower seats, using the manual metal key located inside the battery-operated key fob. Once inside, recline the backrests of the lower seats. Now you can access the trunk: use a flashlight or your phone for light, and you will see a hole on the lower left with a plastic piece that can be detached: pull that and the trunk will open.
