Replacing the Key Fob Battery of a BMW X5

Let's replace the key fob battery of a BMW X5. Take your key fob and remove the metal key inside it. Pry open the key fob cover until it separates. Use a small screwdriver to extract the worn battery and take a new one of the same type; replace it. Reassemble the cover on your key fob by pressing the key case until you hear it click into place. Check the proper functioning of the key with the designated buttons (lock and unlock the doors).
