In this video tutorial, you will learn how to disassemble and replace the battery in the key fob for various BMW models, including the X1, X2, X3, X4, X5, and X6. Take your key fob and remove the key from inside it; then insert the key into the slot and pry off the back cover. At this point, access the battery, remove it, and replace it with a new one; insert the new battery of the correct type (in this case, a CR 2032 3V) in the correct orientation and reassemble the back cover, finally inserting the key!
