How to Reset the TPMS Light on a BMW 1 Series

To reset the TPMS light on a BMW 1 Series, turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Use the BC button on the indicator stalk to scroll through the onboard computer until you find the tyre pressure monitoring option (TPMS). When the reset option appears, press and hold the BC button until the confirmation request shows. Release and press it again to confirm the operation. At this point, start the engine and begin driving: the system will automatically complete the calibration while in motion. Before performing the reset, ensure that the tyre pressures are correct; otherwise, the light may come back on.
