The following steps will show you how to reset the service light for routine maintenance (oil change) on the BMW 5 Series. First, get in the vehicle and turn on the ignition; then press the left button on the instrument cluster for three seconds to enter the settings menu, scrolling through the options until you reach the service option (the text "reset possible" will appear), as shown in the video. At this point, hold down the reset button to confirm and execute the reset of the maintenance warning.
