You can perform a DIY replacement of the outside rearview mirror on a BMW X3 F25 if you have a bit of patience and time to dedicate. The operation itself is not difficult but requires some time because first, you need to remove the inner door panel by disconnecting the electrical cable, and then the plastic trim near the mirror.

At this point, you can unscrew the three screws that hold the mirror in place and pull it outwards. Once removed, you can install the new one by reversing the same procedure.
