How to Remove the Chrome from the Rear Badge of a BMW

Model: BMW BMW Various
Part: Manufacturer emblem

Video tutorial

In this video, we will see how to remove the chrome part from the rear badge of a BMW by simply wrapping it, that is, covering it with vinyl. This is an easy, economical, and above all reversible solution at any time.

Start by cleaning and degreasing the badge and the area around it with isopropyl alcohol. Meanwhile, purchase a piece of vinyl (glossy or matte, according to your preference).

Isolate the area around the chrome with bodywork tape, and then shape the vinyl using a heat gun or a high-capacity hairdryer. With a sharp craft knife (and a steady hand), cut around the excess vinyl.

And there you have it.

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat. Be careful of any electrical cables or components that may be connected to the seat during removal. Once the rear seat is removed, the disassembly is complete.
