Paint code location on many BMW models

In this video we can see where the identification plate of the paint color for BMW cars is located: the youtuber shows us the large rectangular plate on which the commercial name of the color is clearly indicated, assigned by BMW to this specific vehicle, which is "spacegrau Metallic". The plate is located under the hood, in the part that lifts up. Certainly the name is an indication, but if we want to be precise with our body shop, we need to look at the two plates next to it: on one of them the codes PAINT = exterior color (usually a number) and TRIM = upholstery color (usually an alphabetical code) are definitely indicated. Communicate that code to your body shop and you will be sure to find the exact color.
