Let's see how to remove the sunroof of a BMW 3 Series. Start by removing the side handles of the headliner with a screwdriver. Next, remove the sun visors and the overhead lighting assembly located in the panel. If the car is equipped with a sunroof, open it before removing the panel. Remove the trim pieces and the seats if necessary. Once everything is disassembled, detach the headliner panel around the perimeter of the car's roof. As soon as the panel is free from clips, you can pull it out of the vehicle. Be careful when pulling it out of the car as it may bend.
