How to Remove the Center Console of the BMW 5 Series E60

To remove the center console of the dashboard, specifically the DVD reading unit of the navigation system, start by removing the central trim piece that houses the air vents and the parking turn signal button. Once the trim is removed, you can unscrew the mounting screws of the climate control unit and then proceed to the DVD reading unit of the navigation system. During the removal of these components, pay special attention to disconnecting the power connectors and command signals.
