Replacing Front Headlight Bulb on BMW X1

Model: BMW X1 E84 - Years 2009-2015

Replace the damaged bulbs mounted in the front headlight on a BMW X1. Open the hood by pulling the hood release lever and secure it. Remove the headlight covers. Disconnect the power connectors. Detach the bulb holder from the headlight and remove the headlight assembly from the vehicle. Install the new bulbs into the bulb holder and then into the headlight (always use the correct type and size). Close the back of the headlight with the plastic covers. Test the proper functioning of the lights on the X1. If replacing all headlight bulbs, also replace the fog light bulbs if they are a different color.
