To replace the headlight bulb on a BMW X1, open the hood to access the rear of the corresponding headlight. Here you will find the protective cover, which must be removed to access the components inside the headlight assembly. By disconnecting the appropriate connectors, you can pull the bulb from its socket and replace it with a new one. After the replacement, insert the bulb back into the headlight, close it with the cover, and check that everything works correctly.
