How do you open the hood on your BMW 3 Series? Here’s how. Pull the lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then slightly lift the hood and unlock the release lever. Once the hood is unlocked, lift it up and secure it. Now that the hood is open, you can perform maintenance on the fluid reservoirs.

To close the hood, press down until it closes completely. Ensure the hood is properly closed to avoid issues while driving.
