Replacing Front Brake Rotors on BMW X5

Model: BMW X5 E53 - Years 1999-2006

In this video, you will see how to replace the brake rotors on your impressive BMW X5 SUV. First, lift the vehicle and remove the wheels. Next, remove the brake caliper: use a flathead screwdriver to pry inside the caliper to loosen the spring. Then, unscrew the two screws located at the back of the caliper (covered by two plastic caps). This will allow you to remove the clip on the front and take off the entire caliper. At this point, just remove the screws holding the rotor in place, and you're done! If the screws are difficult to remove, remember to apply some penetrating oil.
