Installing the Outer Door Molding

Model: BMW Serie 3 E36 - Years 1990-2001

The outer door molding is secured with push clips: for removal, use special plastic levers with a forked end that allow you to extract the clips without damaging them, deforming the molding itself, and especially avoiding scratching the bodywork. For installation, first apply the mounting clips at the holes on the door; once applied, align the molding to perfectly match the clips with the mounting clips and press until they snap into place without excessive pressure.
