Need to replace the remote key for your BMW 3 Series? Let's go through the disassembly. Take your remote key and use a screwdriver to pry between the two parts of the plastic key cover.

Separate the plastic at the back of the key. Remove the dead battery from inside the key. Replace the battery with a new one of the same size and voltage. Reassemble the plastic on your remote by pressing on the key cover until you hear it click into place.

Test the functionality of the remote key. Press the buttons on the remote.
