Removing Front Seats from BMW 1 Series E87

Model: BMW Serie 1 E81, E82, MK 1, E87 - Years 2004-2013

In this guide, you will learn how to remove the front seats from a BMW 1 Series E87. Slide the seat all the way back and unscrew the bolts found in the seat rails using a Torx key. Then, slide the seat forward to access the rear bolts. Tilt the seat and remove the headrest if desired. Before removing the seat, disconnect the electrical connector located underneath (do this gently to avoid damaging the pins): remove the side plastic cover and unscrew the bolt using an Allen key. At this point, you can lift the seat out!
