Replacing Spark Plugs on BMW 3 Series

Model: BMW Serie 3 E46 - Years 1998-2006

Lift the hood by pulling the lever inside the cabin. Using a pair of channel lock pliers, wiggle the connection point between the spark plug wires and the spark plugs to remove the first one. Now the hole leading to the spark plugs is clear, so you can insert a 16 mm socket and unscrew the plugs. Repeat the same process for all four spark plugs. Insert the new spark plugs into the 16 mm socket and screw them in. Reattach the ignition connections to the spark plugs, pushing them in until fully seated. Close the hood and check for proper ignition.
