How to Replace Spark Plugs on a BMW 3 Series

Model: BMW Serie 3 E46 - Years 1998-2006

To replace the spark plugs on a BMW 3 Series, open the hood and remove the housing where the air filter is located, just below the windshield. Once the bolts are loosened, you can remove the filter and then detach the cover from the top of the engine compartment. This will allow you to disconnect the coils connected to the spark plugs and extract them from their housing using a socket wrench. Insert the new spark plugs into their respective sockets and connect them to the coils, also repositioning the plastic cover and the air filter box.
