How to Replace the Battery in a BMW X3

Model: BMW X3 MK 2, F25 - Years 2010-2017

Before you can start, open the trunk of your BMW X3. Begin by lifting the lower cover of the trunk. This will give you access to the car battery. Next, remove the positive and negative terminals by simply unscrewing the bolts that secure them to the battery. Once done, unscrew and remove the bolts that hold the battery mounting bracket in place. After completing this step, you can remove the bracket and free the battery. At this point, do not remove the battery; you have finished the disassembly.
