In this short and simple video, we will see the steps to remove and possibly replace the door lock on a BMW 3 Series E46. First, open the front door and start by removing the plastic cap located on the side, near the lock cylinder; then use a Torx wrench to unscrew the fastening screw found inside, as shown in the video. At this point, you can pull the lock cylinder out from the outside; for reassembly, simply apply the reverse procedure!
