Where is the Cigarette Lighter Fuse in a BMW 1 Series E87?

The cigarette lighter fuse in a BMW 1 Series E87 is located in the fuse box behind the glove compartment on the passenger side. The 20A fuse is labelled F30. Accessing the fuse box is not straightforward in this model, so follow this step-by-step video guide. First, locate and release the piston to the left of the glove compartment, then find the two buttons on either side of the compartment. Pressing these buttons allows you to release the pins of the door by applying slight downward pressure. At this point, with the compartment fully tilted down, you will have access to the cramped fuse compartment.
