How to Replace the Instrument Cluster on the BMW 3 Series E36?

To replace the instrument cluster on the BMW 3 Series E36, loosen the two Torx screws that are located immediately above the speedometer, on the right and left sides. Removing them will allow you to disengage the instrument cluster by pulling it outward. Once extracted, you can completely remove it after disconnecting the related connectors at the back. Once the old instrument cluster is removed, connect the new piece to the connectors and insert it into its housing. Finally, secure it with the same screws removed earlier.
