In this video, see how to remove and replace the lock cylinder of the front door on the BMW 3 Series E36, following the instructions below. First, open the front door and start by removing the door panel to access the internal lock; then disconnect the electrical module of the lock by unscrewing the side screws found under the caps.

At this point, remove the handle and then the lock cylinder, as shown in the video; then reassemble the entire lock module!
