How to Replace the Rear Headlight Bulb on a BMW X1

To replace the rear headlight bulb on a BMW X1, lift the plastic cover next to the light assembly. To remove it, you will need to lift the rivets that hold it in place. Under this cover, there will be a bolt that must be loosened with the appropriate socket wrench. Removing this bolt will allow you to pull out the light assembly after disconnecting the connector. By removing the bulb from the back of the light assembly, you can replace it and reinsert the light assembly back into its housing.
