To adjust the coilover suspension on the BMW 3 Series, first loosen the bolts that secure the wheels and completely remove them to gain more working space. Next, detach the lower collar from the upper one and preload the spring until you achieve the desired height. Once the shock absorber is at the correct height, you can secure both collars to prevent height variation. Be sure to carefully set both the right and left shock absorbers to the same height.
