How to Replace the Coolant in the BMW 1 Series?

To replace the coolant in the BMW 1 Series, lift the car using a jack and remove the screws securing the protective panel under the vehicle, near the engine compartment. Once the panel is removed, open the bonnet and unscrew the coolant cap to allow the fluid to drain completely from the drain plug. This is located at the bottom of the car and can be opened while collecting all the fluid in a container. Finally, close the cap, secure the panel, and top up the fluid from the cap accessible in the engine compartment.
