This guide outlines the steps to bleed and replace the coolant in a BMW 1 Series. First, lift the vehicle and disconnect the coolant hose by loosening the clamp screw; let the fluid drain into a container for about ten minutes.

At this point, reconnect the hose and unscrew the cap of the antifreeze reservoir to top up; use the appropriate fluid for your radiator, filling to the maximum level indicated on the reservoir!
