Where is the coolant reservoir located in the BMW 1 Series?

Model: BMW Serie 1 E81, E82, MK 1, E87 - Years 2004-2013
Part: Antifreeze coolant

In this video we can see where the coolant reservoir is located in the BMW 1 Series and how to proceed in case we need to check the level. As shown, the reservoir in question is obviously located inside the engine compartment, just behind the headlight on the driver's side. To check the level, simply unscrew the large black cap and check that it is between the two reference marks. If the coolant is low, simply add more using a funnel. Make sure to work with the engine cold and wearing protective gloves.
