Replacing the Center Air Vents on BMW 5 Series

Model: BMW Serie 5 F11, F10 - Years 2010-2017

Using a plastic wedge, remove the entire trim panel that surrounds the center air vents and extends above the glove compartment. This plastic piece is integrated with the vents, so it will come off as one unit. Disconnect the rear cables and remove the entire assembly. Now that the unit is "free", place it on a workbench and disassemble the vents by accessing the rear and unscrewing the mounting screws. This way, you can separate the vents from the rest of the trim panel and then install the new vents you purchased. Reassemble everything back onto the vehicle and you're done.
