In this video some advice is dispensed on the procedure for removing the starter motor of a BMW 5 series. In particular, a broad overview is made of what is the right instrumentation for the purpose: it focuses on an E12 pocket particularly suitable for the removal of the three bolts that fix the starter motor. The same bolts are shown and their location in the motor holder is also explained. The E12 pocket must be mounted on a ratchet wrench with its extension to allow easy access to the fixing bolts.
