To reset the control unit of the BMW 2 Series, open the rear hatch to access the components inside the trunk. By removing the right side panel, you can disconnect the battery power cables for a few seconds while also connecting a diagnostic tool to the vehicle's OBD port.

After a few minutes, reconnect the battery cables and select the reset operation from the diagnostic tool. This way, the control unit will be properly reset.

How to Reset the Tyre Pressure Warning Light on a Kia Rio?
