How do you reset the control unit of the BMW 3 Series?

To reset the engine management control unit installed on the BMW 3 Series, you need to open the hood so that you can access the components located inside the engine compartment: here you will be able to locate the control unit on the right side of the compartment, near the intake manifold. You will need to connect a computer or a scanner to the appropriate port on it: once the connection is made, you can select the specific car model and its corresponding version, following the steps for resetting the control unit.
