In this video, you can see where the central locking control module is located in the BMW 3 Series and how to proceed if you need to replace it, which is a very simple operation. As shown, the module is positioned inside the cabin, specifically behind the glove compartment on the passenger side.

To access it and then remove it, start by going to the right seat, then open the glove box and detach it from the dashboard. Next, disconnect the indicated connectors, unlock the retaining clip, and pull the module out of the housing.

To install the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.
