The car in question has two auxiliary belts: one positioned at the bottom left (looking at the engine compartment from the front) and placed in front of the second which is in the very center; in order to remove the latter it is first necessary to remove the crankshaft pulley and then the first auxiliary belt. In any case, before proceeding with the disassembly, it is absolutely essential to take note of the passage of the belt between the various pulleys, making a sketch on a sheet or a photo (in some cases the diagram is shown on an adhesive label applied on the grille ).

Fiat Ducato 2.8 JTD gearbox oil replacement

Let's see in this guide the main steps to be able to change the transmission oil of the second series Fiat Ducato, with 2.8 JTD engine. First of all we lift the car and go to locate the gear oil vent bolt, which we find near the transmission; we use a hex wrench to unscrew it, letting it drain the old oil in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we open the bonnet and remove the air intake sleeve, so as to be able to access the gearbox oil filling hole; then we fill up to the maximum level!
