To replace the heat exchanger of the BMW 3 Series, access the components located inside the cabin. Specifically, you will need to loosen the bolts that secure the side panel in the footwell on the driver's side.

Once this panel is removed, you can access the hoses connected to the cabin heater radiator: after disconnecting these hoses, you can pull out the radiator after loosening its mounting screws. Once it is removed, you can install a new one, reassembling all the other parts that were previously removed.
