How do you replace the battery inside the key fob of a BMW 3 Series? Let's see how to do it in this video. Take your key fob and separate the two covers using a screwdriver (pry between the two parts until they separate halfway); remove the battery holder (get a new one of the same size and voltage). Reassemble the two parts of the key fob cover until you hear the snap lock and reattach the piece to the rest of the key. Check the proper functioning of the key fob (test the buttons for locking and unlocking the doors).
