How to Replace the Battery of the BMW 320d

Model: BMW Serie 3 E91, E90, E92 - Years 2005-2013

The battery is located in the rear hood of the BMW 3 Series: prepare the necessary materials (6-10 mm socket wrench); start the procedure by opening the trunk hood (make sure it is securely held). You can find the battery on the right side of the cover; lift the inner cover; remove the polystyrene cover from the battery, at this point you will find the spare tire which must also be removed from its place. Once you find the battery, release the pressure clips of the plastic battery compartment cover; remove the battery connectors by unscrewing the terminal screws (positive and negative). Never connect the two opposite terminals. Install the new functioning battery by reversing the steps. Start the vehicle and set the time and date.
