If you own a BMW 5 Series E39 528i (produced from 1995 to 2004 and then replaced by the E60) or a 3 Series E36 328i (produced from 1990 to 2000 and then replaced by the E46), know that both models are equipped with the same engine. If you are looking for some parts, even used, keep in mind this similarity between the two versions, as the parts are compatible with each other. In the US market, it may be a bit more complicated to find parts for these engines, but it is enough to search online to find many sites, especially German ones, where you can easily locate them.
