How to Replace the Expansion Tank on a BMW 3 Series?

Model: BMW Serie 3 E46 - Years 1998-2006

To replace the coolant expansion tank on this vehicle, follow these instructions. After opening the hood and lifting the car, locate the tank positioned next to the radiator. Open the coolant cap located on top of the radiator and loosen the hose clamp on the upper water conduit. Then, go under the vehicle to disconnect the lower clamp as well. At this point, you can remove the expansion tank and position the new one. Finally, reassemble all components in reverse order.
