Before repositioning the new cylinder head gasket, clean the threads of the cylinder head fastening holes using the appropriate tap, taking care not to let any debris fall into the cylinders. Once this operation is complete, apply sealant to the threads and the heads of the bolts, then position the new gasket and the cylinder head, tightening the fastening bolts in a crisscross pattern using both the angle wrench and the torque wrench to ensure a perfect seal of the head to the cylinder block and the integrity of the gasket.
