Cylinder Head Gasket Replacement

After machining the cylinder head, check the flatness of the surface using a straightedge and a feeler gauge for valves; repeat the same check on the cylinder block. Re-tap the threads of the cylinder head mounting holes, ensuring that no debris falls into the cylinders. Before reinstalling the cylinder head, check the clearance between the pistons and the block to avoid knocking after installation; then insert the new gasket and proceed with mounting the cylinder head, tightening the bolts in a cross pattern using both a torque wrench and an angle wrench.
