How to Reset the Service Light on a BMW 3 Series E46

If you own a BMW 3 Series E46 and want to manually reset the service light, just carefully follow the instructions below. In a few seconds, you will complete the entire procedure without any issues. First, get inside the car and ensure it is completely off. Then locate the button on the left side of the dashboard, between the fuel gauge and the speedometer, and hold it down. At the same time, insert the key and turn on the ignition. As soon as the word "reset" appears on the mini display, release the button and press it down again until the display starts to flash. Finally, press the button one last time and you are done.
