How to Remove the Centre Tunnel in a BMW 1 Series?

This tutorial shows how to remove the centre tunnel in the BMW 1 Series E87, a very simple operation. It is recommended to use a plastic spatula to avoid causing any damage. First, remove the two indicated pins, then unclip the lower frame of the climate control module and remove the rear cover of the tunnel. Once this is done, unscrew the three indicated bolts, extract the cigarette lighter socket, detach the gaiter from the knob, and unscrew the last remaining screws, one on the side and two in the gear lever compartment.
