How to Replace the Headlight Bulb on a BMW 5 Series

Removing and replacing the headlight bulb on your car may seem like a complex task to do on your own. In reality, no special mechanical experience is required, and it can be done in just a few minutes. Before listing the necessary steps, make sure to turn off the engine and disconnect the battery. Once that's done, go under the wheel cover and locate a small plastic cover near the headlight. Unscrew the two screws present. Remove the cover and pull the bulb outwards. Disconnect the connector and replace it with a new one. Reattach the cover you removed earlier and screw the screws back in. Finally, reconnect the battery.
