Resetting the maintenance light in the BMW 3 Series G20 is done through this procedure: 1) press the engine start button three times; 2) as soon as the message "diagnostic mode activate" appears, press the DC button located at the end of the lever that activates the turn signals; 3) release the button when the display shows the message "engine oil reset possible"; 4) press the BC button again until the car asks if you want to perform the reset; 5) confirm by pressing the button once more.
