Replacing the Grille

Model: BMW Serie 3 E91, E90, E92 - Years 2005-2013

Front grilles are attached to the bumper with plastic tabs: to remove them, open the hood, unscrew the three screws securing the bumper to the grille so you can pull the bumper forward enough to reach in with your hands and possibly a small screwdriver to release the plastic tabs. Once the tabs are released, pull the grilles forward and insert the new ones, pressing them until they fit perfectly into their respective slots. These grilles are also readily available in the aftermarket in various finishes: matte black, chrome, carbon fiber effect, and so on.
