To replace the serpentine belt on a BMW 3 Series, open the hood to access the front of the engine block, where the belt is located. To remove it, loosen the center bolts of the pulleys around which the belt is positioned, completely removing it from its housing in the engine compartment. Once the old belt is removed, install the new one by tightening the center bolts of the pulleys and checking that everything functions correctly.
