Operation: Replacement of the element for tensioning the V-belt.

Open the engine compartment hood and locate the V-belt located in front of the engine at the rear of the radiator. Choose the suitable wrench, insert it into the pin for tensioning the belt and turn it clockwise to release the tension from the belt itself and thus be able to remove it. At this point, unscrew the bolt that locks the pin in position with the appropriate wrench. Now we can assemble the new pin by carrying out the operations seen in the opposite direction. Position the belt according to the diagram shown in the images (always removing tension by turning the pin clockwise). The operation carried out in the images was carried out on a BMW 5 Series.
