Replacing the Serpentine Belt

The car model in question is equipped with two auxiliary belts, each with its own tensioner: when replacing these belts, it is always advisable to also replace the corresponding tensioners. Start with the pneumatic tensioner accessible from the engine compartment: loosen the tensioner to slide off the belt and remove the fastening pins to take it out along with its support and pulley. Then replace the pneumatic damper and proceed in reverse for installation. Before inserting this belt, replace the other one, which has a tensioner accessible from the lower part of the engine compartment: replace the belt tensioner pulley and the belt itself, then insert the other belt and tension it by adjusting the appropriate tensioner.

To reset the tyre pressure warning light on the Suzuki Jimny, first inflate the tyres to the pressure value indicated on the corresponding sticker: this is located at the bottom of the driver's door pillar. Once the tyres are inflated, insert the ignition key and turn on the instrument panel: select the screen that indicates the tyre pressures, checking that the values change.
